Good to know

Questions, answered properly.

How the advisory works, what it costs, and what to expect when you book.

Who are you, exactly?

An independent travel advisor, affiliated with Fora Travel. Fora is the host agency — it provides the booking platform and the preferred partner programmes; I do the planning and look after your trip. You deal with one person throughout.

What rates and perks can you book?

Through Fora I have access to preferred partner programmes — Virtuoso, Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Rosewood Elite and others — which typically add daily breakfast, a hotel or spa credit, an upgrade where available, and flexible check-in or check-out. The room rate is usually the same as booking direct; the benefits come on top.

What does it cost?

Hotel-only bookings are complimentary — the hotel pays a commission for the introduction, and your rate stays the same. For fuller itineraries involving flights, ground arrangements or multi-stop planning, I'll be upfront about any planning fee before we start.

Do you only book hotels?

No — I also plan full trips. Where it makes the trip better, I work with vetted local travel agencies and operators on the ground for tours, drivers and experiences, so you get local knowledge rather than a generic package.

Can I pay with my own credit card?

Yes, absolutely. Bookings are charged to your own card — usually directly by the hotel or provider — so you keep your card's points, protections and benefits. In some cases the provider may ask for an extra layer of identity verification, such as a card authorisation form; I'll walk you through it if that happens.

Am I locked in once I enquire?

Not at all. The first chat is just that — a chat. I'll come back with ideas and rates, and nothing is booked until you say so.

Still curious? Just ask.

The quickest way to an answer is to start the chat — it takes about five minutes.
